The village has a children's play area with table-tennis tables, pétanque court and tennis court, both of which are floodlit at night.
Pezenas market, held every Saturday, is one of the biggest and best street markets to be found in Southern France. The displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables, local produce, souvenirs, clothes and general goods stretch the whole length of the main street. There are markets almost every day and many evenings at local ports and towns, during the Summer months selling a wide variety of local produce and crafts. There is an open air swimming pool in Pezenas and another 20 minutes away at Besilles country and leisure park, which also has more tennis courts and a rope assault course. Attractive local villages include Montagnac, Castelnau de Guers, Pinet and St. Pargoire. The port of Mèze, on the Étang de Thau, is just over 10 Kms.
Bouzigues, famous for its oysters and its oyster festival in August, is well worth a visit. The town of Béziers with its wide range of shops is about half an hours drive away.
The city of Montpellier, the capital of Hérault, is 50 Kms (less than an hour by car). This very attractive and elegant city has several museums and parks. The Haut Languedoc National Park is 40 Kms to the Northwest. There are many walks and impressive views. Try the Gorges d'Heric, the village of Roquebrun and The wooded mountains of l'Espinouse to get a flavour of the area.
