Mammals |
The following species have been recorded by direct sightings, fresh signs {molehills, badger sets, spraints, footprints {e.g. muntjac}}, the use of bat detectors or small mammal traps. The lists are of common names, followed by the scientific names, the number of tetrads from which the species have been recorded in, and finally the letter "G" denoting that the species was recorded in a garden. |

Birds |
Several members are fortunate to have a river or lake in their tetrads where there is public access. For this reason several species may have been reported by other Society members. You may find that some unusual species are marked with a "G" denoting that they are garden species. These, of course, were seen flying over the garden . The list is arranged in Voous order, similar to that used in the majority of bird books. |
